NOT IN CHARLOTTESVILLE?
If you are a medical student living at home (outside of Va) and wish to volunteer in your local community, click to be taken to the National Student Response Network website. If you are not in Charlottesville, but still in Va, we recommend signing up for the Va Medical Reserve Corps. More information on how to do this can be found on the page.
Contact Alina Zufall (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any questions or concerns.
The National Student Response Network (NSRN) aims to create a database so that local hospitals know what medical, nursing, physician assistant, and other health professions students are living in their area. In the event hospitals need volunteers, they will have access to our network, enabling them to know who is nearby and what skills they have. NSRN will work in conjunction with local and state Health Departments to help with mobilization efforts.
